Teaching: Supporting lasting growth in economic thinking

Everyone has the potential to think like an economist, but few arrive in the classroom knowing how. I approach economics as a living toolkit rather than a static theory, connecting formal concepts to students' lived experiences. My goal is for students to apply economic reasoning to everyday decisions and to see themselves as participants in economic conversations. I create learning environments where students feel comfortable taking intellectual risks and confusion is welcomed. When students feel respected and supported, learning to think like an economist becomes both rigorous and human.
