My name is Yumin Hong (pronounced as 'you mean'!)

I received my Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Texas at Austin in May 2026.

I will be joining the Department of Economics at the University of Richmond in Fall 2026.

My research interests include environmental economics, health economics, and public economics, particularly the effects of climate change and social policy on vulnerable populations. | Go to Research
